WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) is out with a new web video “My Daughter’s Future” ahead of President Obama’s 2013 budget proposal. Even though his budget failed to receive any votes in the US Senate last year, he’s back with the same failed spending and tax increases that we’ve seen the last three years. Instead of cutting the deficit in half by the end of his first term—like he promised—President Obama is adding another trillion dollar mortgage to our children’s future.

“President Obama promised to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term but instead ran up trillion dollar deficits every year he’s been in office,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “His budget for next year is more of the same. It’s full of more spending and more tax increases that have put this country deeper into debt.”
“Instead of mortgaging our children’s future, President Obama should have fulfilled his promise to cut spending. Unfortunately, this is another in a long line of failed promises that the American people won’t forget when they vote to put an end to his presidency this November.”
