WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement congratulating newly elected Hawai’i GOP Chairman David Chang:
“On behalf of the Republican National Committee, I want to congratulate David Chang for being unanimously elected as Chairman of the Hawai’i Republican Party. Mr. Chang is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a small business owner and dedicated servant in his religious community. We are proud to have such a decorated public servant head our Republican Party in Hawai’i.
“As a well-respected and proven leader, I’m confident David Chang will provide the vision necessary to unite the Hawai’i Republican Party to create a viable two-party system,” said RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “David brings a fresh perspective to our party, and I look forward to working with him in the future.”
