WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and SCGOP Chairman Chad Connelly today released the following statement reacting to DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s campaign trip to South Carolina:
“As DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz campaigns for South Carolina Democrats today, she will likely bring her extreme rhetoric with her. She’ll probably make some outlandish claims on the economy but, as we all know, President Obama and his policies have failed our nation. The reality is that President Obama’s and Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s policies have been nothing but a disaster for folks across our nation and if Debbie tells you anything different, it just shows how out of touch she is,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
“I’m happy to welcome DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to Charleston today. Maybe she can take some South Carolina common-sense back to Washington, and tell Barack Obama that the NLRB’s attacks on Boeings’ private sector jobs are despicable. South Carolinians are ready to get back to work, but Washington Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Barack Obama keep standing in the way,” said SCGOP Chairman Chad Connelly.
