RNC Releases New “Morning in America” Radio Ad

WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) is releasing a new radio ad, titled ‘Morning in America’ in 8 targeted states — Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina & Michigan — ahead of the president’s latest ‘pivot to jobs’ speech. All are states President Obama won in 2008 but is now vulnerable in because of his failed economic leadership and resulting high unemployment.
“Based on the past two and a half years, it is difficult to expect anything different from this president in Thursday’s speech,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Unfortunately, it appears he plans to recycle the same old failed policies and blame game that we’ve seen repeatedly. As his approval rating plummets, the president is once again claiming to pivot to jobs.  Unfortunately this is too little too late.  His summer schedule was chocked-full of campaign fundraisers, taxpayer-funded bus tours, golf outings and a luxury vacation to Martha’s Vineyard. This president has been twiddling his thumbs and, as a result, zero jobs were added in August. Despite his failed leadership, he is now blaming everyone but himself for the economy. Already in full campaign mode, expect to see more finger-pointing from this president who adamantly refuses to lead.”
The radio ad is available here: http://www.gop.com/audio/MorningInAmerica.mp3.
