WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement regarding the status of the New Hampshire Republican Party:
“I congratulate Wayne MacDonald on his new post of Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party. The Granite State will be a crucial battleground state in 2012 and also serves host to the first in the nation primary. Wayne has served for many years as Vice-Chairman and that experience will be invaluable as he leads the New Hampshire Republican Party to victory in 2012. President Obama’s historic failure on the economy is taking our country in the wrong direction and it is time to change course for the sake of our future generations. We have a strong partner in Wayne and with his leadership, we will make certain Barack Obama is a one-term president.”
