This Radtke business is a serious distraction from a larger issue.
I am convinced that George Allen is not going to be able to beat Tim Kaine. And even if George Allen could beat Tim Kaine (and polling suggests he can), there is a more problematic issue — while I have no doubt George Allen will routinely tell the Democrats no, I also have no doubt he will never tell Mitch McConnell no.
And I think we can do better than that in Virginia.
We may have to pass on Virginia if there is no viable alternative. But I hope that won’t be the case.
